FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions)

Every intervention on the teeth can have certain damages on the teeth. The main thing to consider here is the damage of dental calculus. Stones, plaques and bacterial endotoxins deposited on and under the gums cause local diseases such as gingival recession, thinning of the alveolar bone leading to wobbling teeth, bad breath (halitosis) along with systemic diseases such as diabetes and heart diseases. In this case, the problem is not to have the dental calculus cleaned but to not have them cleaned. You can protect both your gums and your teeth by having a regular physician examination every 6 months.

Gum treatment is a multiple-session treatment. In the first session: it begins with the removal of dental calculus that accumulates on the tooth and turns into calcific deposits that the patient can no longer clean. The patient is taught techniques of oral hygiene, such as brushing and flossing. In the second and subsequent sessions, the retention areas of the teeth that the dental calculus is likely to accumulate in are removed together with the dental calculus cleaning of the patient. Endotoxins deposited by bacteria plaques on the surface of the teeth are dug with periodontal curettes. The gum treatment of the patient, who is now performing proper oral care and whose gingival hemorrhage has been terminated, is terminated. The patient is invited for regular examinations.

There are many internal and external factors that determine your tooth color. Generally, the differences between the thickness of the enamel and dentin, which are the tissues in your teeth, affect the inner color of the teeth. The teeth with thicker dentin look yellow and the teeth with thicker enamel look whiter. External factors like tea, coffee, smoking, etc. are effective on the teeth to be more yellow. If it is seen that the external factors are the source of the discoloration as a result of the physician control, it can often be removed by cleaning the tooth surface. Coloring due to the anatomical structure can be removed with office or home type bleaching systems.
